We are a nonprofit devoted to improving neighborhoods, communities, and cities through dynamic and innovative strategies. As a research-based, data-driven non-governmental organization that works to increase positive community relations, we strive to promote health and education, reduce poverty, improve social services, increase veteran support, and teach self-reliance.
The Foundation was created with the help of experts in business, law, finance, and education that will conduct research into the exact causes of poverty, unemployment, and other challenges that confront families and individuals with an emphasis on hyper-local analysis and solution implementation, unique to the needs of each area we serve. We have been working for over a year to begin this project and it is finally time to launch and see how far we can fly.
The first areas that we will serve are inner-city neighborhoods in Providence, Rhode Island and Dayton, Ohio. We already have the necessary endorsement and support from government and community leaders to form a coalition that works for hyper-local change in needy areas.
The Alahverdian Foundation is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible to the extent
permitted by law.
